Apostasy in America Takes Front Stage During Inauguration

Thursday, January 22, 2009 (7:04 am)

by Bill Wilson, The Daily Jot

If one wishes to understand the direction of the nation, one only has to look at the prayers that were offered during the inauguration. The prayers reflected the man who occupies the Oval Office who told the nation, “We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus – and non-believers.” Kicking off the inauguration was homosexual activist and apostate Episcopalian minister “Vickie” Eugene Robinson who opened with “O god of our many understandings. . .”, then proceeded to curse America with his “blessings” calling on our nation to suffer tears, anger and discomfort for our treatment of homosexuals, the poor in other nations and every religion’s gods.

On January 21, Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America, offered an inaugural prayer at the National Cathedral. ISNA is supported by the terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood and was also named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land terrorist money laundering trial. Mattson is quoted by the Center for Security Policy as saying, “Indeed, since preserving faith is the highest priority, it is important that Muslims avoid demoralizing dependence on other faith communities for their protection and material needs.” She says, “People of faith have a certain kind of solidarity with others of their faith community that transcends the basic rights and duties of citizenship.”

At the inauguration proper, SaddlebackChurch pastor Rick Warren gave a Christian prayer, yet the discerning ear found it to be ecumenical by including phrases from all the major religions-Christian, Jewish and Muslim. After publicly approving of having the homosexual Robinson pray, Warren followed his same theme, although it was carefully hidden. Warren, in his inclusive prayer, said, “The Scripture tells us, “Hear, O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one.” And you are the compassionate and merciful one.” But, here, Warren mixed the scriptures of the Bible and the Koran-considered a somewhat heretic move by Jews, Muslims and Christians.

JihadWatch.org’s Robert Spencer, an expert on Islam writes: “‘The compassionate, the merciful’ is, of course, a reference to the invocation at the beginning of every chapter of the Qur’an except one. . .the prayer indicates yet again that there is little general awareness of the reasons why the term “Judeo-Christian-Islamic Values” is a misnomer.” All religions do not worship the same god. The First Commandment is “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.” The Koran instructs its readers to kill Christians and Jews. Why are Christian religious leaders compromising the word of God? Why are Americans tolerating such apostasy?

They are tolerating and welcoming this apostasy because attached to it is the promise of wealth, prosperity, equal rights and
peace.” If the people are intent on going astray, Father sends a working error and they chase after it. No longer
does the majority consider themselves Christian, and many of those who do are a new-fangled brand of Christian
which is foreign to our early Hebraic leaders and roots, and to God’s doctrine. It’s a sad day for America, but
reminds us that the day of YHWH{the Lord} draws ever near.

Billy Graham spoke the Word at President Bush Jr. inauguration when he quoted the Bible verses on “unless the Lord build the house, the builder labor in vain…” I was watching and knew it for the Word that it was. It was a warning. I did not fear it for myself, but I felt a chill for my country. Billy may deny being a prophet but that has never stopped God from speaking through whomever He choses to, and when He choses to say something. The USA did not pay attention to that Word. And it is paying even less attention to God and His Word now. What is lacking is “the fear of the Lord.” It is now all coming down to that. Some may fear a god, but that does not mean it is the God of Moses, Abraham, Isaac. It does not mean it is the God and Father of Jesus/Yeshua, the Messiah. The country screamed God does not care, or is not alive, when 9/11 happened. But how long had God bore grief since Roe v Wade? How long did He wait for us to turn back to Him? But our leaders are not listening. Obama now says he will remove even the restrictions Bush placed on embryo cells. Washington State just signed into law permission for assisted suicides. And they all pretends God will not care. He cares. He cares very much. It all comes down to the fact that, one by one, we will all answer to Him. Every King, every indigent, every old man, and every President. All alone we each will stand or fall before the Holy One. Each one of us needs that personal relationship with the One true God who really does exist. And to not fear such a God, though merciful He is, is the height of foolishness. That, and that alone, is the difference between the US and Israel, one has enough of a percentage of people living in it who fear the Lord, and the other has not enough of them. How better for God to teach us to trust Him, first, foremost, and above all, than to show us just how untrustworthy all around us is? God is a rock. He is even the rock that keeps us afloat while the rest of the world is swept away! God is making it, day by day, more and more a necessity for Americans to know Him. The polarization has begun. I lost all to know what a rock God is. And I count it all nothing now for this great thing I have gained. “The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.”
